Wind tunnel model Ligier JS35 1991 Lamborghini

Wind tunnel model manufactured at Magny-Cours in 1991.

This model was purchased at the cessation of activity of the Prost Grand Prix team which had already taken all the Ligier team in 1997.
This is something unique, elegant, dramatic and moving. It will delight a discerning collector or take pride of place in a setting at its height.

This wind tunnel model was a working-art at that time.
Ligier team in 1991 is located in Magny-Cours.The cars are manufactured locally and the factory has the first wind-aided system for CAD (computer aided design), and an autoclave oven used to the manufacture of carbon fiber parts.

Ligier JS35 This model would allow engineers to design the most efficient car and find the optimum settings in the wind tunnel.
The model is equipped with adjustable fins at all levels. We imagine this wonderful tool with the time spent by men in search of perfection with the collective will to defy the air resistance and constraints at very high speeds.

It is a moment in history than to be in contact with this model. Owning a wind tunnel represents a considerable budget and all the teams still do not.
This is also refusing to let his wind tunnel at Magny-Cours to Peugeot who wanted to enter the world of F1 that Ligier aborted project of Peugeot. Jean Todt decided to join Ferrari in 1992.
